Jane Marie has been in the real estate industry since....., well, for a long time. She represents clients in the Highland Lakes and Texas Hill Country areas specifically within the cities of Marble Falls, Burnet, Horseshoe Bay, Spicewood, and Cottonwood Shores. Jane Marie has been directly involved in the development of the mixed-use master planned communities of La Ventana at Lake Marble Falls in Marble Falls, TX and The Ranch at Delaware Creek in Burnet, TX.
Jane Marie is currently an elected City Council Member for the City of Marble Falls and appointed to the Board of Directors for the City of Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation.
She recently had the privilege of serving as a Commissioner on the City of Marble Falls Planning & Zoning Board for five years as well as on the Impact Fee Advisory Committee and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee.
Jane Marie is the appointed President-Elect of the Highland Lakes Chapter of the Womens Council of Realtors for 2011.
Jane Marie's experience and active involvement in the real estate and legal industry contributes to her knowledge of the market conditions and in transactions in the Highland Lakes and Hill Country areas.
Personal
Jane Marie grew up in Austin and attended Austin Community College and Southwest Texas State University now known as Texas State University. Since 2000 after moving from Austin, she and her husband have been residents of Marble Falls. Her youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations - drill team, Big Buddy Program (now known as Big Brother Big Sister) and flying. She is married to Steve Hurst, an attorney practicing in the area of real estate amongst other areas of the law, and they have three children: Bill, Daniel and Tory.
